The customer contacted us after their Samsung front-load washer stopped draining mid-cycle and displayed error code 5E. Standing water remained in the drum after every wash, and the machine would not advance to the spin cycle. They had already tried cleaning the debris filter with no improvement.
Our technician diagnosed a failed drain pump motor that was no longer generating sufficient pressure to evacuate water from the tub. We replaced the entire drain pump assembly with an OEM Samsung part and also cleared a secondary clog of lint and small debris from the drain hose. After reassembly, we ran a full test cycle to confirm proper draining and spinning. The washer was returned to full working condition in a single visit.
